Privacy Policy
Dark Magic Studio / Tiny Notes · Last updated 1 January 2026
This policy explains what information the Tiny Notes web application works with and how that information is handled.
1. Where your notes are processed
Tiny Notes processes the content entered into the current web application directly within the browser. Note titles, note bodies, tags, favorites, collection rules and appearance settings are held in the memory of the page you have open.
This information is not written to persistent browser storage. Closing or refreshing the page returns the workspace to its starting content.
2. No account required
The current implementation does not require an account. You can open Tiny Notes and start writing without registering, signing in, or providing personal details.
3. No transmission to a Dark Magic Studio server
The application does not currently transmit note content to a Dark Magic Studio backend server. It performs no background uploads of your notes and makes no request to a Dark Magic Studio service while you write.
4. What the application does not use
- Cookies, local storage or other persistent storage in your browser.
- Analytics, advertising identifiers or third-party tracking.
- Access to your contacts, files, location or other device data.
The application loads a web font from a public font service so the interface renders consistently. No note content is involved in that request.
5. Exporting your notes
Export files are produced inside your browser and saved directly to your device by the browser's own download mechanism. Exported content is not sent anywhere.
6. Payment information
No payment card information is collected directly by Tiny Notes.
Future payment processing, if enabled, will be handled by an authorized third-party payment provider. That provider processes payment details under its own terms and privacy practices, and Dark Magic Studio does not receive or store your full payment credentials.
7. Children
Tiny Notes is a general-purpose productivity application intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children.
8. Changes to this policy
Dark Magic Studio may update this policy as the application develops. The date shown at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
